Bachynska: I’ll do everything I can to win more Olympic medals for Ukraine

Anastasia Bachynska won bronze in the all-around final at the Youth Olympic Games. She talked to the Ukrainian Olympic Committee about what this medal means to her:

“This medal is the medal I’m really proud of because it’s the proof of the great Ukrainian school of Olympic gymnastics. It’s a great honor for me and I feel joy and pride for my country”.

“Today I made mistakes that didn’t allow me to finish higher on the podium but we’ll be drawing conclusions and will continue working. There are four more event finals ahead so I have the highest goals and I’ll do everything I can to win more Olympic medals for Ukraine”.

Bachynska didn’t medal in vault and bars finals, where she finished fourth and sixth respectively but she will have two more chances to win a medal today.
