David Belyavskiy was originally on the roster for Stuttgart World Cup but then was replaced by Artur Dalaloyan. Today he announced that he spent time recovering from a wrist injury and has only started training again. He still considers competing at the Russian championships that take place in three weeks:
“Hello everyone! I’m finally back. I’ll explain why I was absent here. I was taking care of my health. At the beginning of the year, we were doing the annual medical checkup and I didn’t get the permission to train, I spent some time in a hospital and was working on healing my wrist. Only today, I started proper training, there are only three weeks left until the Russian Championships, we’ll see how it will turn out. I’m really happy that everything is fine now! The most important thing is not to overdo it because I have a huge desire to show myself on the competition floor.”
