Angelina Melnikova told TASS that she and Nikita Nagornyy will compete at the Mexican Open at the end of November. Earlier, she said that she would be competing at the Toyota International meet in December, however, this plan has changed and now she is slated to compete at the Voronin Cup instead. Melnikova did not mention whether her ankle which she injured right before Worlds is still bothering her.
“I will have two more competitions this year. I’ll compete in Mexico at the end of November, where I’ll travel with Nikita Nagornyy. And in the middle of December, I’ll participate in the Voronin Cup in Moscow where almost the whole national team will be represented. I had a short vacation right after the Worlds. I managed to get rested together with my parents. I returned to the camp with lots of motivation to work again and I even missed the training a bit.”
