The International Gymnastics Federation has awarded the 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships to Rotterdam. This will be the third time Rotterdam hosts the event – they hosted Worlds in 2010 and 1987. The competition is the first Worlds of the 2025-2028 Olympic quad that has been awarded. The 2025 post-Olympic World Championships do not have a host yet, although Copenhagen that withdrew from hosting the 2021 Worlds is reportedly in the talks for serving as a host in 2025.
