Alexeeva: I’m happy I competed without large mistakes

Yesterday, Irina Alexeeva competed in the all-around final as the second Russian all-arounder in addition to Angelina Melnikova.

Alexeeva’s difficulty doesn’t yet allow how to fight for AA medals at major competitions but it surely was a big experience for the first-year senior.

Alexeeva told R-Sport that plans to upgrade in the future:

“I’m happy that I went through the competition without large mistakes today. All the events went fine but I didn’t do my best, there’s something to strive for on every event. This experience was absolutely awesome and I’m happy that I went through the whole competition without serious mistakes, without falls, and that we won silver as a team”.

“I plan to go back home now, to keep working, to upgrade my routines and to keep competing. Yes, there are always thoughts about the Olympic Games but for now, I need to think about training and working on my routines”.
