When announcing the Russian MAG team for Worlds, Valentina Rodionenko said that Denis Abliazin would compete on rings, vault, and floor. However, according to the MAG national team head coach, Valeriy Alfosov, Abliasin still hasn’t recovered completely from his injury and can only compete on rings.

Sergey Eltsov will be the third gymnast on pommel horse where the Russian team starts in qualifications and he will also do the parallel bars. Abliazin will compete on rings, while Artur Dalaloyan will take the third place on vault and floor. Nikita Ignatyev will compete on high bar.
