Artur Dalaloyan won the Russian Championships

Looks like Artur Dalaloyan is back to her last year’s shape as he won the all-around by three points over David Beliavskiy. The all-around medals at Russian Championships are decided by the results of two days (qualification and final). On the first day Dalaloyan finished second after Beliavskiy, losing by only 0.35. However, today Beliavskiy had a pretty bad day with multiple falls across the events while Dalaloyan had his greatest competition day hitting all 6 events including a major 15.05 on floor and finishing with 86.20 AA score. Vladislav Poliashov did slightly worse in the final than on the qualification day but finished third on both days. Ivan Stretovich who did quite well in his first major AA competition on the qualification day (83.700) had multiple falls and mistakes today finishing with 80.550 and ending up in fifth.

Nikita Nagornyy is dealing with a minor injury and only competed on four events, not being able to do the all-around for now.

Oleg Stepko didn’t make a great case for getting on the Russian national team as he had quite a few mistakes on both days finishing tenth overall.
