Daria Skrypnik was quite a promising Russian junior winning AA at Russian Championships and EYOF in 2015 and started her senior career with winning gold on bars at senior Russian Championships in 2016. However, after that, her senior career hasn’t been quite working out and she did not receive any international assignments in a while. Skrypnik said to Kuban24 that the first two years of her senior career were a hard time for her and that she is more or less restarting her senior career now:
“I had some small disagreements with my coach and of course the teenage age had its effect. I guess I was just changing and that’s why it was such a difficult period”.
Last week Skrypnik won the all-around at the South Federal Region Championships with 55.25. She then also won bars with 13.2.
Next time we will see her at the Russian Championships in April.
