David Belyavskiy became one of the 8 winners on the “Best Yekaterinburg’s Athlete”. Yekaterinburg, David’s home city, is the host of this year’s Russian Cup.
The athletes nominated for the award were first presented for online voting. Then a special committee chose the 8 winners from the athletes who got 500 or more votes in the online voting.
The awards will be presented on August, 12th. All winners will also receive a monetary prize of 100,000 rubles (about $1600).
