The European Games are opening tomorrow and it’s time to plan your gymnastics schedule for the next week.
Among the big names for the competition are Angelina Melnikova who plans to unveil her new floor and beam routines, David Belyavskiy who will compete for the first time since Worlds, Becky Downie, Georgia-Mae Fenton, and Nina Derwael who all missed the European Championships.
The full list of the participants can be found here.
The qualifications start on July 27th. There is no team competition this year and most countries got to send only one or two gymnasts. Unfortunately, the MAG and WAG qualifications and AA finals will run at the same time, so instead of trying to follow four or six events at the same time, we will have ten.

What a shame that you cover gymnastics but pay no attention that other disciplines are taking part under gymnastics delegations. For gymnastics to become stronger overall we should all be working to promote “GYMNASTICS” not just particular aspects. I do hope you may be willing to do a bit more of this in the future because your coverage of artistic gymnastics news is great.
