Eythora Thorsdottir has announced on her Instagram that she will, unfortunately, miss the upcoming European Championships. Thorsdottir, one of the stars of the Dutch team, broke her hand at the last practice before leaving for Euros. For Eythora it’s a second significant injury in the past year: she bruised and fractured her ribs before Worlds last year and wasn’t able to do all-around there. While the Netherlands is sending a strong team to Euros, the absence of Eythora can significantly hurt their chances for a team medal.
