Great Britain’s gymnastics federation has announced that Claudia Fragapane will replace Kelly Simm on the team for the European Championships. Simm was originally selected for the team together with Ellie Downie, Alice Kinsella, and Amelie Morgan. However, Simm had to withdraw due to a fracture in her foot.

For Fragapane, this will be the first international competition since 2017. She tore her Achilles at the beginning of 2018 and has been recovering since then. She competed on three events at the British Championships last week and won silver on floor.
