Evgeni Grebyonkin, the head coach of the Russian women’s team, said that both Aliya Mustafina and Viktoria Komova have achieved the goals that the coaches set for them:
“We set individual goals for Komova and Mustafina for the Russian Championships and they got an A+. We’re happy that they’re back in the game again. There’s still time before the major competitions of the season so we’ll start upgrading slowly. Aliya originally planned to compete on two events in Kazan but then she decided to do all four and that’s great”.
