Jordan Chiles made a move that might increase her chances to make the Tokyo team. She has recently moved to the World Champions Center, the gym that belongs to the Biles family, and will be coached by Laurent and Cecile Landis.

Chiles has graduated from high school this year and signed a national letter of intent to compete for UCLA gymnastics but will defer until 2020 in order to try for the Tokyo team. She has a lot of power but has been struggling with consistency in competitions and, hopefully, this is what the new coaches can help her with. Earlier this month, Chiles told Inside Gymnastics that she will be trying to make the teams for both the Pan American Games and the World Championships.
