Komova: I want to compete more

Komova had collected a second bronze medal today in addition to her AA bronze from yesterday, placing third on bars. While she scored almost a point lower than in the qualification she was able to stay on which was quite a feat in today’s final. She told R-Sport that it was really great to be at a big competition again and she can’t wait for more:

“I felt the atmosphere of a big competition really well. It’s a lot of adrenaline, it’s just unreal! I want more, actually. To rest for a but – and to compete more, it’s so cool! I haven’t experienced this in a while. My goals are the Euros and Worlds, to upgrade the routines and then to clean them up. [today] I hope to perform decently, beautifully and well. And the judges would decide who would win and who’d place second, third and so one. I was just preparing to do my routine decently. The result was decent but I expected a different score on bars today. But my nerves acted up a bit, that’s where the lowered difficulty came from, I didn’t do my connections. When the nerves starting acting up, the connections get immediately broken, the difficulty is lower and I do everything not as clean”.
