Lieke Wevers has announced on her Instagram today that she will have to miss the rest of the competition season. She said that she won’t compete at Euros or Worlds this year and will focus on rest and recovery instead. According to Wevers, her body is not enduring the training load well and she needs to take a break now in order to push for the Tokyo Olympics.
