Valeri Alfosov, the head coach of the Russian MAG team, said to TASS that Nikita Ignatyev is definitely out of the running for Euros because he missed both the Russian Championships and the Russian Cup which served as a big part of the selection process. Ignatyev missed nationals due to a shoulder injury and then suffered a minor concussion before the Russian Cup. However, he is still being considered for the Worlds team depending on his performance at camps and verifications.
