After starting the year strong and winning five medals at the Commonwealth Games, Nile Wilson had an unlucky streak of injuries and will miss the World Championships. Earlier this year, he had a neck injury that prevented him from participating in the home European Championships. He recovered from that injury in time to make the British team for Worlds. Unfortunately, on Friday he sustained a finger injury while training on parallel bars and will have to take some time off to recover.
Brinn Bevan will take Wilson’s place on the Worlds team.
