Rifda Irfanaluthfi from Indonesia won a bronze on vault at the Islamic Games. She got a score of 13.025 finishing behind Oksana Chusovitina and Marina Nekrasova. To Irfanaluthfi this bronze means a lot both because she competed against the famous Chusovitina, and because, being a Muslim, Islamic Games are a very significant competition for her. The gymnast’s dream is to qualify to the Tokyo Olympic Games and she’s trying to gain enough competition experience right now.
