Sanna Veerman has announced on her Instagram that she will miss the Dutch Nationals this week due to a minor knee injury:
“Unfortunately, I got a little tear in my meniscus, which means I’ll not be participating this weekend at the Dutch national championships. Recovery is going well and I am still able to do a lot of things so I am happy about that :)”
A second-year senior, Veerman started her 2019 season strong, representing Netherlands at the American Cup and scoring 50.765 there. She qualified to the bars final at the European Championships in fourth place but, unfortunately, had a fall in the final and placed last there. She is currently preparing for the World Championships, hoping to make the team and help it qualify to Tokyo.
