Slovenian Teja Belak will have to miss the home world cup in Koper next week because of an injury. Andrej Mavrič, the national team coordinator said to Siol.net that she apparently has a ligament tear in her leg and the doctors advised her to rest in order not to aggravate the injury. Belak also had to withdraw from this week’s world cup in Osijek. For now, it’s not clear whether she’ll compete at the Mediterranean Games, this will depend on Belak’s recovery.
