According to the USAG list of banned and suspended members, the investigation is looking into the allegations of sexual misconduct.
OC Register writes that according to their sources, the allegations had been reported to USAG in 2012 and 2016, however, when they asked a USAG official for a comment this week, the official said they were unaware of it. According to OC Register, a day after that interaction happened, Naddour was suspended.
The gymnast wrote on Twitter that he was not notified of the suspension and doesn’t know the cause:
I have no idea what is happening or why, we are trying to contact safe sport for any information.
