MyKayla Skinner has reported on her Instagram that she’s been hospitalized with pneumonia that resulted from COVID-19. Skinner said she caught the virus from her husband Jonas Harmer who had gotten infected on a business trip.
Skinner is the first US national team gymnast known to be diagnosed with COVID-19. She took a break from NCAA gymnastics where she competed for the University of Utah in order to train for the Tokyo Olympics.
