Oleg Verniaiev said to Sportarena that he is currently preparing for both Universiade and Worlds.
Verniaiev participated in the Olympic Day in Kyev – an event meant to promote sports participation and watching among children in Ukraine. Verniaiev said that for him coming to the event was important even though he’s very busy. He thinks that events like this one give kids joy and dreams and a chance to meet their sports idols.
Today Verniaiev is flying to Israel for a 10-day vacation/rehabilitation. Then he will be back in the gym preparing to compete at the Universiade in August.
