Khorkina suggests that David Cameron and the British people need to calm down

The former UK prime minister David Cameron claimed to the media that Russia won the bid to host the World Cup due to corruption. If you’re wondering why you’re reading about football here, it’s because Svetlana Khorkina had some things to say about Cameron’s claims (of course she did). This time she didn’t threaten to nuke anyone and but suggested that British should take some sedatives to calm down:

“I don’t want to talk about Cameron’s words because of all that the British have been doing lately in all areas. They lost in everything including the right to host the World Cup and they can’t calm down but there are Valocordin and Novo-Passit for that. We need to prepare for the World Cup, to play as well as possible, so that neither the fans nor the players had anything to be ashamed for. If this will happen, I’ll be happy even if we won’t become champions. We need focus on our internal affairs. When they kick us we need to react accordingly and if they cross the line, we need to punch them in the face. There’s no need to impose our friendship on anyone, these times are long over. It’s just no one can yet get used to the fact that we’re above everyone else”.
